Christmas Gratitude

Each year as Christmas approaches, I make a list of all that I am grateful for. When it comes to the mountains, I have a lot of gratitude. The mountains constantly inspire a sense of wonder in me, from the grandest peaks to the tiniest plants. They are where I go to de-stress, to renew myself, to let go of the problems of the work week, to reconnect with my hiking buddies (fabulous people, every one of them!).

I am also grateful for this blog, in that it gives me an attainable goal to reach for, it motivates me to keep practicing my arts, and gives me a spot to share the places I’ve been and the art inspired by those incredible locations.

Last but not least, I’m grateful for you, my followers and readers. From the friends and family who take the time to read my little blog, and let me know what they like (and don’t like) about it, to the other bloggers who chose to follow what I do. I’m amazed by what my fellow bloggers are doing, creating and posting about, and I truly enjoy paying visits to see what you’ve been up to.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
